Per a Ryan James tweet-

Chances are decent that Devoe Joseph could play against Wofford. He just needs to take his academics more seriously.

Looks reasonable to me. It's goods news, I'm going with it.

It will be fun to listen to Sid talk his way out of his leg injury - redshirt - stand he took this morning on WCCO.

This would definitely be much better lol. I'm just gonna rest on hope this will be the end result. Tubby definitely needs to send a message though, I'm sure after Al last year, this is the last thing he wants to deal with regarding any players this year.

Anyone else see anything last night? But I notices once during a timeout that he struggled to get off the bench and onto the floor and seemed to hobble a bit. I guess with a leg injury like that, it would be sore if you were not loosened up.

I have heard that Tubby demands all grades from all the players. I am glad he is taking academics seriously. Makes for a much better program and one we can all be proud of.

Devoe is a bright kid, he has no excuse for this kind of problem.

Me too, Ryan's the voice of reason!

Ryan's got my vote.

Per Marcus Fuller-

Tubby will sit down with Devoe to talk about being more serious academically. Chances are really high he plays vs Wofford. I put 70% on it.

The question is do the Gophers need Devoe to beat Wofford? If Tubby doesn't think so, then he could just sit him for a game.

Doogie throws a new wrinkle into the mix though-

Heard his grades were down, & that him and Tubby have had a bit of a power struggle.

Isn't this really why college basketball is great?

Everybody knows something but no one knows the truth. So we all assume the worst, hope for the best, and most likely get something in between. ( is that profound or what? )

Sounds like Tubby is trying to stop a problem, a la Nolan, before it happens.

Did you watch the Winona game? We could lose to Wofford with or without Devoe, they are a legit opponent. I'm expecting the Gophers to regroup, cut some of the freshmen's minutes and get a close win.
