They played a fine first half against USC, but they walked right in to USC's changes at half time.
Special teams were disappointing. The kickoff return after McKnight's TD looked like USC was toying with us.
Are our DB's named Crispy, Ash, Toast and Flambe? Awful tackling that would have worked in the USD game, but against USC it was like running over a tackling dummy. And the dummy would have chased them down faster.
Our D line showed some promise, but not enough to put sufficient pressure on Barkley.
O line really disappointed on run blocking. A running game requires holes and lanes for the runners to get through.
Our QB and WRs aren't even on the same planet. What QB says in the huddle, what QB thinks he said in the huddle, what WR hears in the huddle and what WR remembers from the huddle seem to all be different things.
Brewster needs to get a JuCo QB in here and give Aliapate more time to mature. Gray seems destined to remain a WR cause the OC can't prep for his spread style. Well, IF Brewster is still here next year....
