Gophers break open a scoreless game in the second half. The first touchdown comes on a 27-yard pass play. The quarterback was a junior from Edina who was the first really skilled passer to play at Minnesota. The pass was caught by a sophomore from Bloomington who would become the first Gopher to have 1,000 career receiving yards. Can you name this pair?

QB: John Hankinson
Receiver: Ken Last

Glad you're back, Nomellini, with your Gopher history questions.

Doc you beat me to the punch.

Go Gophers!!
