Sprinting off to an 18-2 lead, Gophers are never challenged, led by 27 points from a scoring machine from Minneapolis South High School. Can you name him?
Bonus Question- A 6'7" small forward scores 31 for Boilers. He had 9 games for Purdue with 40+ points and once put 52 on Michigan State. An NBA Rookie of the Year, he had 12 NBA seasons, mainly with some bad Piston teams. Can you name him?

I don't think Disch was a small forward in college, he was a post-big forward in college, and had some great great battles with Jerry Lucas in the paint.

Dischinger was also an outstanding baseball pitcher for Purdue and a member of one of the Olympic basketball teams during the 60's. On a personal level he was my children's orthodontist in the 80's. His practice is in Portland, OR. Class act.

Leo and others: Dischinger played on one of the greatest Olympic basketball teams of all-time. The 1960 team.
Jerry West, Oscar Robertson, Walt Bellamy, etc. Also on that team was an Austin, Minnesota native. Can you name him?
