Gophers get 36 points from a player who bangs his head on the Williams floor, leaves for stitches & returns five minutes later to find Minnesota down by 8. In just 2 1/2 minutes he has Gophers back up to stay. Can you name him?
Bonus Question- A 6'3" Purdue scoring machine has 29 points. He once put up 57 against Michigan and averaged 32 points per game as a senior. A deadly pure shooter like Rick Mount, he was also too slow to enjoy a significant NBA career.

Leo: Lou Hudson. I was at the game. Have to think about Purdue player.

If it's the game I remember, Hudson hit his head on the underside of the backboard, not on the floor.

Now for the correct answer to the second question. Jimmy Rayl

David Schellhase is the Boilermaker in question. (But I had to look it up)

I've now reached the second stage of old age.......Memory Loss.

Dave Schellhase it is.

I remember it as the bottom of the backboard. Lou had some hops. Dave Schellhase is the correct answer.
Did he coach at Moorhead State at one time? It was Hudson, Clark and Yates first Big 10 game.
