Ron Johnson leads Gophers with 18 points. A Wisconsin player scores 11 points. In the fall of 1959, he will quarterback the Badgers to the Rose Bowl, where they will be destroyed by Washington, 44-8. This player will go on to a long NFL career as a defensive back, including a stint with the Vikings. Can you name him?

Hackbart. Had an interesting pro career.

Dale Hackbart. Played for he Vikings for several years. I saw him clothesline a Cardinal widereceiver when the pass was 20 yards over his head. Answer to my earlier question- Cazzie Russell out of Chicago Carver.
