I remember seeing him play in high school and thought he would be such a great player in college. I think he was a McDonald's all American in HS, but like you said, his college days were ok, but nothing special. Did ok as Akeem's back up in Houston.

As I recall Peterson had 3 very mediocre seasons and then blossomed his senior year, which got into the NBA Draft, which had about 7 rounds back then.
