Wow, that's crazy. The technical was bad enough- especially considering St. Johns had called an immediate time out after the lay up and the game wasn't impacted by anyone coming onto the floor. But the 2 free-throw "re-dos" is a farce. They need to award the game to Carroll.

Good refs would have just remove the fans from behind the hoop to begin with. Certainly should have after the first free throw.
