In what is expected to be a big blowout for OSU, as Gopher fans here are some things to watch for.

1. Gopher defense against the run. Can we play a second decent game forcing teams to become one dimensional, or will we be undersized and have no answer for a Buckeye running attack

2. Gophers secondary against a legit pass game. This is where it could get really ugly. With a lack of Gophers pass rush, our younger secondary could have moments of high exposure. As OSU is completing passes, will it be because our guys are playing soft, or just because they are getting burned on big plays.

3. Annexstad against the pass rush. We should have opportunities to pass. Will he feel the rush better and dump it in time, or is he going to get crunched repeatedly to the point we are all looking for Seth or Tanner to finish the game.

4. Faalele - His first start he'll be playing against high level defensive ends. Will he be taken advantage of or will he push the smaller men around as if they were boys.

5. Does Shannon Brooks play?

1. Can they? Yes. Will they? Your guess is as good as mine. The defense seems to take games off at times.

2. Their receivers are really, really good. Their QB has a rocket arm and 25 TDs. I don’t see this going well whether we lay up and drop 7 or 8 into a soft zone or we try to man up and bring pressure. Have to hope for some turnovers, tipped passes, sacks, etc.

3. I’m one of those that wishes he’d just shut it down and get healthy rather than going out and aggravating a healing ankle every week. I think we’ll have just as good a shot and maybe better with one of the other two, if I’m honest.

4. I don’t know. I’m really hoping he looks good and isn’t abused too much by the speed rush. He looked great against an above average Iowa line so I’m optimistic.

5. Brooks is among my favorite players on the team but I don’t think he’s ready. Save him for more winnable games.
