I never thought a hire was possible before this coming Monday or Tuesday. A couple reasons are that coaches are still working on regular seasons and it would not be fair to Horton or the players on the team. It would take all the spotlight off the Seniors and team going into their last game against Iowa.
However, knowing that some direct contacts have been made with coaches already, I expect a hire to be announced by the end of next week. Friday the 3rd headed into Championship weekend. All the pre-game shows will then mention Minnesota and the hire. Free pub is always good.
