I was as disappointed as anyone at the statistics from Thursday's win. But, after watching Iowa lose, Penn State struggle, Nebraska fall behind at home, etc, I can at least still visualize a breakout season for our rodents. We should enter most games with at least a hope of getting a "W".

Interesting how Saturday's results throw a better light on the Gophers. I remember that even Woody Hayes and Murray Warmath had teams that struggled in early games.
