Hilarious! Where is he from Uruguay? He's got into the diet of cheese curds and mass consumption of beer. Saw him for the first time on Saturday. His nickname has to be Lumpy or Fatso Fogerty. Mirrors the general population in Wisconsin. Got to give the guy credit he drilled a couple of nice field goals.

I used to think that about Jose Mijares when the coaches kept on him about his weight for the Twins. I always thought, "hey, if he's pitching well, who cares." Then we lost him for a key stretch when the weight of his body tore his ACL jogging to cover first base.

The kid's been a nice upgrade over what we've had the last couple of years. If this sort of thing is what you live for and makes you happy, Ruppert.... I'm glad for you.

Of course according to the rosters our guy has 7 inches in height over their guy (6'6" vs. 5' 11") yet he only weights 14 lbs more (245 vs. 231). But again if the kid can get it though the uprights I don't think anyone over in sconnie land is going to worry too much about the beer gut.
 

This guy is Twiggy when compared to Sebastian Janikowski.
