Tomorrow is the day we've been waiting for since Brewer was hired. We have the speed he promised because we have a generous helping of his recruits mixed in with the carryover from Mason. We have the beginnings of the depth he told us we would have. We've had a good beginning to the season. We have Wisconsin at home in our brand new on-campus outdoor stadium.
We now have our first opportunity to demonstrate that we really belong, not in the middle third but in the upper tier of the big ten for the first time really in a generation. And we do so with the promise of another bumper recruiting class that could make the team even better next year. Next year aside, however, tomorrow is about this year and a chance to prove that we are really moving up. A victory does that. A loss puts it all on hold.
I for one have swallowed the cool aide and look forward to seeing the AXE surrounded by gold!
