Coach Kill said from a financial standpoint the fund continues to get better. Wherever he speaks, people continue to write checks for the cancer fund. All of those donations —from all over the country — come back to Southern Illinois.
The fund helps cover costs associated with cancer treatment or transportation to and from treatment, as well as other items not covered by insurance or any other public or private means.
