We finish 8-4.
We finish behind Ohio State, Michigan, Michigan State, and Sconnie.
Penn St is not eligible.
Every bowl will pick Iowa and Nebraska ahead of us if we are tied or only one game ahead of them in standings.
Iowa loses to Wisconsin and Michigan but beats Purdue.
Nebraska loses to Penn St, Northwestern, Michigan, and Michigan State.
Nebraska then beats Iowa in farmaggedon and they each finish with records of 6 and 6.

Gophers finishing 8-4 is not as unlikely as it sounded two weeks ago.
Iowa will be underdogs to Wisconsin and Michigan.
Nebraska will be underdogs to Michigan and Sparty, but the other two would be upsets. But after Saturday, I'm not sure they would be huge upsets.

The Gator Bowl sounds very nice.

If I am feeling very optimistic, I think we have a chance to go for 8-4 or even 9-3 if we upset Wisconsin or MSU.

But to keep myself from disappointment and outrage, I believe that we will go 7-5. Which is alright because we are improving slowly.

If the Gophers finish 8-4 and Iowa finishes 6-6, the Gator Bowl is in play - though any bowl below the #3 selection (Outback) is permitted to choose any eligible team, regardless of the standings.

Iowa will beat Purdue, but root for them to lose their three remaining games, including to Nebraska - the Cornhuskers getting to at least 7 wins would make them very attractive to the Wild Wings Bowl, clearing the Gophers' path to the Gator Bowl with the #5 pick.

But this all doesn't mean anything without getting to 8 wins. Beat the Hoosiers.
