Who cares? Beating the Vadgers again is the only possible highlight left. Iowa is too pathetic to make that game matter.
 

We may not win another game. We'll probably come out with some swagger against IU as we did today and blow the game in the last 5 minutes. Come out all cocky against Iowa and lose by 20. 14-17 probably won't get us an NIT bid...We'd be a CBI bubble team though :)
 




First round NIT exit if we make it...we'll either be close to .500 or below I think.

Your second prediction of a big loss to iowa.....how bold. Weren't you the same guy who said missedlayup and his other name were 100% legit?
 

I'm not saying it will happen, but this team is tanked. If they come out with a bad attitude and play careless thinking that Iowa is a Mid-Major caliber team they will lose by a good amount. I don't care what missed-layup has to say. He has a valid opinion...I could very easily become an ass hole and rip on all of your posts as well. I just accept other people opinions and disagree with them one time if I don't think it's a good one. I don't constantly groan and moan like a baby about something that really shouldn't matter to you people all that much.

iowa is a mid major team and even their coach knows it. maybe you didn't get the memo
 

They pounded NU...Why couldn't they beat us? What have we done this season to ensure a victory in that game?

You really love defending iowa don't you? first you say iowa could beat us by 20, now you change it. Maybe because Minnesota already @ss pounded iowa in iowa city.....that game was over at halftime.
 

Iowa lit us up from threes in the second half and made it much closer...just as NU did, IU did, MSU did, and every team we have lost to this season has done. I also don't know if Matt Gatens played in that game or not. Just don't be suprised if we lose. I hope to god I'm wrong though. That would put the exclamation mark on an awful season. If I could have one wish. I would wish that we could start this whole thing over...with Royce and Mbakwe...too bad I'm only dreaming. It is what it is right?
 



Nobody cares if we make the NIT or not, and no your Iowa team does not have a chance to beat the Gophers "Gopher" Pride.

I very badly want to make the NIT, just to avoid the shame of not even making it to the freaking NIT. If/Once we are there, I will most likely care very little how we actually perform.

In my view, our chances of losing to Iowa are only marginally better than making the tourney, aka. a freak, freak occurrence.

Yeah. I don't think NU expected it to happen. We gotta come prepared to play!

Actually, they didn't. The Gophers were up by 26 with less than five minutes left and then the Hawkeyes hit some meaningless threes to make it look like it was a game, which it never was. Even the Iowa fans recognized this on their website. But your other point is well taken. That Gopher team was much different than the team we currently see.
