The program could use some good news.

Its been a downer since Al went down. Talks of declaring for the draft, transfers, Tubby leaving, nothing firm on the practice building, etc.

Anyone have any good news of a possible committ?

Hollins is one of three finalists for tennessee player of year with adonis thomas...

The other player is a junior Alex Poythress who has offers from a large amount of southeastern schools and is currently the #35 player in the nation for the class of 2012, so he is in some pretty elite company it seems from the people who see him play consistenly...

up beat

Not about the two recruits but good news as far as I am concerned is Tubby's declaration he is staying and "indications" that Trevor will stay for one more season.

:)

Gophers are undefeated in neutral court games this year.

If we win a few games in the B10 tournament we could end up being a one seed in the NIT. :)

True we have 9 in a row* but the real season begins now. Win and advance.

Trying to think what would qualify as good news: Deandre Daniels actually coming to Minnesota? Tyus Jones committing early? We really don't have a whole lot of potential good news on the recruiting front that would point the program in a much more positive direction.

I don't even want Jones to commit early. Who wants to read to 3 years of Doogie/Souhan & co. tweets about him changing his mind?
