This has come up a lot lately, especially with the zone defense played by a lot of teams and how clogged the Gophers lane gets.

I wanted to do a quick analysis of how the Gophers stack up against their conference foes

I did a quick look at number of players on the roster shooting over 30% from three with at least 40 attempts. 30% is a pretty low bar to set I'd say, and 40 attempts means you are taking roughly one and a half threes per game.

Below is each team, the number of guys they have with the above criteria and their current conference rank.

Illinois - 6 (T-6th)
Northwestern - 6 (10th)
Indiana - 5 (T-1st)
MSU - 4 (T-1st)
Michigan - 4 (T-3rd)
Wisconsin - 3 (T-3rd)
OSU - 3 (5th)
Iowa - 3 (T-6th)
Minnesota - 2 (T-6th)
Purdue - 2 (9th)
PSU - 2 (12th)
Nebraska - 1 (11th)
