I like to look on the positive side but I'm still searching for positives today. Help!

Iowa will be over confident next week....I would rather have them win today and be happy with themselves then come in hungry and looking to avenge a loss. :)

When we finish 4-0 the rest of the way, it will look even better because all four teams are playing well?

You mean the while 175-28 thing?

I guess it's this, win 2 or more and it means you are a really good team.

It is odd how Penn State plays everyone close, but always loses

Last time I checked we are still 6-2 after this weekend. I eat lost to Iowa State, Ohio State to Virginia Tech, Wisconsin to Northwestern, Nebraska well.. They have been good. In college football it happens, nothing is linear. No one game is going to be the ultimate judgement on a season. Worry about the outcome once it's been decided.

I don't know if they will be over confident, but I'm hoping that because everything went for them today the law of averages catches up with them next week. Go Gophers!

This is the truest statement ever said on this board mine as well shut it down

Big Ten. The slide of the Big Ten conference seems to coincide with the introduction of the stupid B1G acronym that is insulting to any thinking person. A G does not on any way stand in for a zero. Words matter. Letters matter. It was a stupid marketing idea. Please end it.

It's Big Ten. It's East and West, not Legends and Leaders.

Rant button Off.

The G does look like a 6.

The end goal I believe is to get to 16 teams. Thus B16 / B1G

Completely going off on a tangent here. But it would be amazing if the eastern teams realized the travel costs aren't worth it or something and decided to split off to start their own conference. Something like this would be alright in football and deadly in basketball: Penn State, Pitt, Rutgers, Maryland, Syracuse, West Virginia, Louisville, Virginia, Virgina Tech, and Connecticut.

Other food for thought? Call it the new Big Ten: Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa, Nebraska, Illinois, Kansas, Kansas State, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Texas

Very few positives. The teams remaining on our schedule all trampled their opponents. With the exception of Michigan.....who appears to be improving week after week.....the Big Ten teams that we've beaten were lifeless. I was hoping that Illinois would show some signs of improvement. Nope. They are bad.

If OSU beats MSU and Wisconsin beats Iowa and Nebraska, then the last three games will be against ranked teams. Win all four and the Gophers will be ranked about #11 going into the Big Ten championship.

It's November and we are still in control of our own destiny!

What would we have given for that in 2010??!?!
Maybe one day we'll complain about the Twins not getting out of the ALCS, enjoy the moments!
