A share of the BIG West title at stake
The table is set for the Gophers to grab a share of the BIG West title with a win over the Badgers.
Let's review the past just a bit......
The last time the Gophers shared a title was in 1967, when they shared it with Purdue and Indiana.
As it stood, Indiana was given the chance to go to the Rose Bowl due to Big Ten rules at the time.
The Gophers were so upset at not getting to go to the Rose Bowl that they could have cared less about
the title. In response to that severe ingratitude, the sport of college football said, "Fine. If you're gonna be that
way we'll make sure you don't get a share of another for another fifty years!"
1990, 1999, 2003, 2014, etc, etc
Only Gopher fans would find a way to bi%@& about sharing a title. How about we all start a new tradition
and just embrace the opportunity. A title is a title. A banner is a banner. The U refused to accept a share of
the Big Ten title in 1927 although they were perfectly entitled to one under the rules of the time. How about
we start accumulating good experiences?
Let's get the Axe as well as a share of the title and be HAPPY about BOTH.
