The only way Brewster should stay on one more week is to come out and say that Marquies Gray is our starting QB this next week. Weber is a joke of a QB that can not lead, or play at that position.

The announcers were saying how he is the most experience QB in the nation but, I seen a amateur out there today. Persa played way better than Weber.

Coach, it is time to put Gray in and ride your luck on him. That is the only way 99% of fans will give you another week.
 

Pryor did it, Robinson's doing it, Persa is too.... so why not let Gray do the same? He picked the wrong school, poor kid.

Football coaches simply don't get fired mid-season. I would be shocked if he were not gone after the season, but don't get your hopes up about anything being announced until at least week 10.
 

After another miserable failure of a two minute drill, I'm not sure even that would win me back. I don't see any reason for Brewster NOT to play Gray now though. Realistically we aren't going to a bowl, we aren't going to win any rivalry games, so why not start building for the future? If Marquies is really the special player that Brewster has pitched him as, then GET HIM OUT ON THE FIELD AT QB!
 

They're 1-4, what they're doing now is not working, why not make a bold move and try to save your job Brew?
 


On that last play Weber missed a wide open reciever to his left. If he see's that we win the game. Weber locks in on one reciever all the time.
 

I would embrace a change to Gray, but the flipside to the argument is that since there will not be a bowl game, he should let the senior captain play out the string. I think both can be argued well.

I disagree. Gray doesn't have Gray to throw to.
 



He has Knight,and will have Green when he's healthy, and Laair,and Allen can catch. So far Grey has not shown he is really accurate, but weber misfires and kills drives all over the place. I give Weber the start at Wisc. and if it's the same old crap at half, it's get ready for next yr with someone else. Grey, Alipate, or even give Parrish or Lueck some time.

He wont do it.

As long as Weber doesn't have a horrible performance in which our offense can barely move down the field, he wont be coming out. Weber didn't cost us the game, the playcalling during our 2nd minute drill was down right pathetic.

Yeah. And Weber still survived alright.

But, to be fair, Gray apparently was hurt (plantar's foot).
 



Why not blame the band for our poor record? You people are really something blaming our QB. He has little to say about the game plan and he can't run down field to direct his receivers in running effective routes. If you think weber is why we are 1-4, you need watch a lot more football and maybe get some therapy.

If he's not already he will probably be a lame duck after next week just waiting for the season to get over and move on.
