I don't know if it was terribly one sided...but that crew could not decide what was and what wasn't a foul. No consistency whatsoever. Half the time they let them bang, half the time they were calling ticky tack touch fouls. Stanford absolutely hand-checked us to death. They looked stronger on the ball and took us out of the game. I've never seen so many odd looks from our players.
Rodney all season appears to be a foul-magnet. I don't think the refs can believe that he can block some of the shots he does. He also rarely gets calls when he goes to the bucket. It's a shame and i hope it doesn't discourage him from continuing to develop that facet of his game.
Jim Birr NEEDS to retire.
Finally, I closed my eyes and pictured Trevor on the court tonight. The physicality edge would have been slightly different.
