The Midwest is the new home of college football national champions

Yes, yes, yes. Great thread...Midwestern Football...we should all take pride in it, and I'm saying this as a Minnesotan who played for NDSU who now lives in Oklahoma. LOVE Midwest Football.

Now if they would just put the College Playoff Championship in Minneapolis, Indianapolis or Detroit

NIL took most of the financial cheating out of recruiting. What does 2 BIG National Championships tell you about what was going on in the South?
I find it hard to believe Ohio St has ever had been outspent by schools in the south, even pre-NIL

Transfer portal is a huge factor. Players buried on 2nd and 3rd string aren't hanging around waiting for their chance to play & get paid.

We need another B1G school to take it again next year, Penn state is coming back really strong, Oregon, etc

There's also this Midwest team in maroon and gold with a weird rodent mascot that would be fun to see challenge. ;)
