Husker70 is a long time poster. I know he has a lot of passion for the game. In years past, I recall his posts such as, "When the Final Score is posted at ......" I think the wind gets knocked out of his sails after a tough loss. Then we don't hear from him for quite some time.

This year, I enjoyed his posts, but I think the Iowa game must have been too much for him to handle. We haven't seen a post from him for a long, long time.

I'm thinking the return of the Brown Jug would cure husker70's funk and he'd be prediciting the final score against the Illini next week.

One of the farms I drive by on the way to work every day just harvested their field corn this week. I was shocked as the farm abutting my yard was done a month ago (also corn).

I can't wait for Wren and The Loon to return. Whoever threw them off this board works for Ziggy Wilf and his Bugsy Siegel / Meyer Lansky legacy borgata. People hate hearing the truth. Wren and Loon were consistent in their messages. Those of you who drank the Maturi / Bruininks Kool Aid didn't want truth, you just wanted to "Fire your way to Excellence." It always works, doesn't it? It works for Donald Trump so it must be the solution for Gopher Football too. I especially loved Loon when he would point out that certain posters were not "deep thinkers."

The only thing the Loon ever wrote that was intelligent was when he stated that a Mason team should never, ever blitz. Everything else was garbage.
