The Hoff curl play

I love this play:

Hoff gets ball wide right. Has no shot. Passes up. Hoff makes a run toward the free throw line. Gets the pass and lofts up a lefty pseudo-running hook/pass.

I love it. I love that I see it coming. I love that it plays off the fact that they are guarding Hoff so close on the perimeter. I love that it's to the point that when his shot DOESN'T go in on this play that I'm amazed.

This might be my favorite "works every time" play since the Lenard alley-oop dunk from the weak side.

In addition, if he sees the double team coming, he switches the "shot" to an alley-oop to Mbakwe.

Been nice to see the development of the mid-range jumpers/floaters in Hoff's game this year. REALLY going to miss him next year.
