I guess I can't upload the photo. Anyway it is a sign all over the football buiding that says: The Season Starts Today! We are 0-0!!! Beat Northwestern!

I guess that will work!

I'm embarrassed that Brewster is even associated with my alma mater.
 


Again, though, What are they supposed to do? Every Big Ten team has a 0-0 conf record. I'd much rather see this that a sign that says, 'We're throwing in the towel'

Can't make it up! You can almost hear Carnival Barker Brew standing in the street echoing this message as the traffic passes by; "step right up ladies and gentlemen..the season starts today!" Da da dada dada da da da...........

Risk/reward. What does this signage accomplish? How stupid will it look on Sunday if we get destroyed on Sat? No sign is the answer.
 

I don't think a sign is going to make this year look any more stupid. This year is already stupid. I don't know if they usually post signs, but if they do normally to suddenly stop would send the throwing in the towel message to the team. We give up, no more clever motivational signs guys.

Right, Brewster should continue to post these signs but I don't think the players buy the crap he sells. Just like when he's in the weight room in March carnival barking about the Air Force game, I don't think the players buy his shtick.

They do post signs, at the very least, on the locker room doors.
 



It's so obvious some of our posters/trolls have never played football beyond pee wee. This stuff happens all the time in high school and college. It's not a big deal.

What's next, a thread about someone seeing Brewster with a smile on his face which must indicate that he is "happy where the program is right now"?

No one ever understands Pantherhawks odd references. That's what makes him so easy to spot.
 




This sign would be admirable if we were 4-0. Instead it's just sad and pathetic.
 



For those who are critical of the sign is it suppose to say, "We suck and now go out there and lose to Northwestern?"
 


Our "real" record

So, the sign say 0-0 huh? Before the Iowa State bowl game, I heard countless times that the game was the first game in 2010. Well, our Gophers lost that game, so the sign should actually read 1-4 !

The company President walked in just a bit ago and said he was "embarrassed for my Gophers."

So, that's the employment status of the day.
