The Dickinson Press: Kill a more humble Gopher coach

The Dick-in-son Press.

Sounds like a move lakesbison tries to pull off when he's all liquored up.

I find that really offensive and not true...

He wouldn't need to be liquored up at all.

In his seven months as a University of Minnesota employee, Jerry Kill has yet to utter these words: Rose Bowl, Gopher Nation, Texas and USC.

That would be surprising, since the Gophers are playing USC in two months. Texas cancelled the games against the Gophers, so they aren't relevant. I'm pretty sure he's said "Rose Bowl", and I'm pretty sure that it is his goal to get there. Gopher Nation, that was just a marketing slogan, there was nothing arrogant about it. Although some Bison fans seemed to think that the idea that the state of Minnesota was our turf was somehow arrogant. I was up at a small town festival recently in NW Minnesota. I counted t-shirts. I counted one NDSU shirt, one UND shirt, three Bemidji State shirts, and about a dozen University of Minnesota shirts.

Sounds more like an agenda against Brewster than a praising piece for Kill.

Agreed. Brewster's problem--and it's a big one--is that he couldn't back up the bluster. Like he's the only guy in the history of college football who had that problem.
