The sky is falling (I'm concerned, too), we're 0-3 in the B1G, Purdue likely will be 3-0 when it comes here, yet I'd be surprised if we're not favored by the oddsmakers. The Gophers likely will be a slight favorite to win, I'd guess.

I hope Hummel stays healthy & plays well & his teammates play well, but the Gophers play better and get to 1-3. Right now just want to see a well-played B1G basketball game with some efficient offense. Something resembling like the Gophers played when they went up by 11-12 last night in the 1st half.

So you don't think Painter will go zone on us? :) I think Tubby will be calling the Big Ten offices today protesting the use of zone defenses against our best ever shooting squad.

Yes, I suspect we'll see some zone. I hope we're working on our zone offense as we speak.

1) You know as well as anyone that road wins in the Big Ten are never a given. Purdue should win in Happy Valley tonight but crazier sh!t has happened.

2) I have never seen Purdue play zone since I became a Purdue fan in 1993. Keady and Painter teach man to man and nothing else.

I will not be attending the game Sunday since I have prior obligations. The last 2 times I was in the same building as Robbie Hummel - he tore his ACL. I now have a self-imposed restraining order.

were you in Orlando over Thanksgiving?

If Gopher doesn't win in the next 4 games then 0-18 becomes a real possibility.

Purdue is getting crushed at Penn State by 19 tonight. They look very pedestrian in the half court against a Penn State zone.

Hummel's knee injuries have cost him agility and quickness although not toughness. When I saw Purdue earlier, I also thought them beatable. Their PG is solid and could give the Gophers trouble.

The announcers are talking about the home court advantage. PSU has maybe 1000 fans there.

Gophers should expect Purdue's best effort Sunday. Hopefully the Gophers respond the same way.
