At moment he looks like a guy that got in on Bitcoin when it was pennies and others are getting in when it was a thousand a share. The large payroll definitely shows in their portal work for next season.

I don’t think he invented anything new on the field. His talent evaluating and roster construction both with his players and coaching staff is where he’s been fantastic.

Yeah I suspect that’s the average of the starters which isn’t some unbelievable thing in the portal era where there are also some guys who have COVID 6th years. On the IU football roster page there are 47 players listed Fr, R Fr or So.
