Only one more top-25 game this week (Akron @ #16 Creighton), so here's what I think might happen in the 12/10 AP poll:

- Gonzaga will drop below Gopher, bringing Gopher to #13.
- Gopher *might* also leapfrog Missouri, bringing Gopher to #12.
- Illinois will jump into top 10, giving Big Ten four top-ten teams.
- No movement in top 10 other than Illinois replacing Gonzaga.

Might jump to 11 just because the Gophers were inexplicably not ranked at all by a few voters last week.

What about the coaches poll? Think we can break into the top 20 finally? ;)

The Illini love the 3 ball. (60 shots, 27 were 3's) Gonzaga has those two Sasquatches, maybe could have used them a little better. Just no answer for Brandon Paul last night. Nice win for the intense Mr. Groce.

As a Gonzaga fan, I was really shocked Illinois went in to Spokane and won. They seem to be pretty legit. Big Ten is as strong as I have ever seen.

Do the polls come out today? I thought they always came out on Mondays.

All that being said, I kind of like how the Gophers match up with Illinois.

I thought the rankings come out tomorrow also.

Just had the date wrong. No more posting while waking up.

there is an outside chance the B1G will have 5 top10 teams to begin conference play...not sure, but would have to think that would be an all-time first for any conference

There is actually a pretty good chance of this. I'm pretty sure Minnesota will be at worst #10 by the time they play MSU as long as we beat NDSU and Lafayette.

Lunardi has us at #10.

Unbelievable win by Illinois at Gonzaga. As Westbrook once said "The Big Ten is where the men play"

Seth Davis put us at 19 in his AP Poll.

In case anyone was wondering (I was) he had us at 20 last week. The team we passed was Georgetown who he dropped several spots from last week.

Gophers actually move down one spot in this week's ESPN power rankings. We come in at 14, just behind Gonzaga.
