Gonna enjoy that for a long time. Who hates Iowa???

They aren't good enough to be worth hating! ;)

Surprised, impressed, uplifted. Congratulations to the Gophers for not staying down after the Illinois loss. More wins ahead.

Wow. That was impressive. Let's do it again next Saturday.

Not bad for a team with a DII QB, a coach who is over his head, and an OC who has no clue.

Don't forget "Not Enough Stars" recruits. At least the usual jackasses won't be around today.

God, that was fun!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We dressed for a game to be played with the temps in the mid-30's, partial sun and winds from15 to 25 MPH.

With about 5 minutes to go in the 1st Half it was 70 degrees and sunny for the rest of the game!!

Maybe they are so embarrassed that they will move to Iowa.

Even a blind squirrel...err just kidding. Most impressive win in JK's tenure here and most complete game I can remember us playing. Looked like men against boys and we were the men.

QFT. Great way to put it. Iowa looked slow, weak, and unorganized compared to our Gophers. Weisman seriously looked like he was running in quick sand...the holes just closed so quicly. Hats off to the staff and players for a memorable weekend! What a rush!

I haven't had a feeling this good since I sneezed during an orgasm!!!

The only problem I had with the game is there was no golden moment to mock the departing Iowa fans. They just kind of dissipated over the slow painful death of the second half. And I think the blowout took a little of the steam out of their usually antagonistic ways. Most of their fans seemed to have that "screw it, I guess we suck" look on their face.

We just seemed so much faster than them. I'm guessing the week off really helped but still.

Kill has talked about adding speed since he got to MN. There is no doubt we are seeing that now.

It has to be a bizarre range of emotions for them after doing whatever they wanted against NW last week.

I think their whole fan base is pretty apathetic right now. They're starting to realize they suck.

Agree. We talked about starting the "35-South" chant at HT, but figured there would be a better chance. Never got to do it.

...and to think the entire 'Mitch is a DII QB' came from our own 'fan base.' Wait...what??

There were literally fans (mostly college aged) sitting outside one of the entrances at The Bank today yelling that exact phrase for every Iowa fan they saw leaving early...it. was. awesome.

Just got home from the game and first off, I did not see that coming. I say that with a smile wider than my face. Watching the steady stream of black and gold clad zombies filing down 4th St with more than ten minutes left was quite surreal. Get the Jug? Check! Get Floyd? Check! The Axe is next. This team has shown it's capable of winning out. No easy task, but I can see a win at Camp Randall. Time to beat the Skunks.
