Joel Maturi flat-out lied to the football fanbase. He never should have made that statement unless he was 110% positive he was going to land a big name. What a joke. It's truly unfair to the people who support this program to go out and pull something like this.

Actually he didn't lie, at all. They all said no. Is it that hard to believe? All of the coaches we went after are in line for something much better right now. I know it may be hard for you to suck that one down, but it's definitely true. The Mullens and Goldens of this age are going to big time programs who are already proven when the time is right for them. Why would they risk their careers on something that will most like end in mediocrity, something that this program has been faced with for over 50 years? Kill hopefully can break that barrier. I hold out hope.
