Texas to the Big10

I can't help but think that would elevate the impression of the Big 10 in general to right behind SEC in football and ACC in BB. Conference Renamed, broken into divisions, Big 10 Championship game etc. Solid basketball, awesome football, great baseball.

Would Texas only join as part of a package deal with A&M or Oklahoma? From the ESPN article...

If that's the case then Minnesota and Iowa might be asked to leave the Big Ten and join the Big 12. That would suck.
We are doormats in football and are perennially rebuilding in basketball so I don't see the rest of the Big Ten jumping to our defense. Minnesota or Texas in the Big Ten...who would you pick?

Scary.

Of course this is total "what if" and has absolutely no basis in fact.
