Texas Tech defensive coordinator Matt Wallerstedt abruptly resigned Thursday after sources told ESPN.com that the coach was suspected of being under the influence of an unknown substance while on campus.

Considering that the chemistry dept at TTech is probably a meth lab, there are other possibilities. Then again, given that it's Lubbock we're talking about you can throw in a healthy dose of grain alcohol.

I would think being on any number of substances at T Tech is the norm. It looks more like a convenient excuse for dumping a coach for a defensive unit that gives up 36.7 ppg.
