Dear GHr's--

It's time to get this out there and get some good karma going. Terry Hoese, father of Gopher Captain Jon Hoese, had a stroke on Thursday. It was a bleeding-type stroke.

Terry is a great guy, and is so proud of his son.

He has had some setbacks, and needs the Gopher community to send out some good vibes.

Think of Terry, Sharon, Jon, and his siblings during this time.

Very tough for the Hoese family. All of my prayers for a quick recovery.

....our prayers out to John's dad and the whole family.

I think they mentioned this at the women's event on Friday from the reports I got.

Terry, Sharon, Jon, and the entire Hoese family are incredibly great people. Hopefully they can pull through this tough time. We are thinking about them.

I do have to question whether it is in good taste to conclude the post with "Bring me the head of Bret Bielema." I am not sure that shows a lot of class.

I'll be wearing my #35 jersey in Murfreesboro

in honor and support of Terry and the Hoese family. I was wearing it in Miami when Mrs. Hoese came up and introduced herself and told me I was wearing her son's number. He has worked hard and will be a great Captain.
 

The Hoeses will be there with us all in so many ways. Keep getting better, Terry.
