According to the Scout free board it looks like Johnson is soon to get offers from Oregon, West Virginia, and Miami. He still lists Minnesota as one of his favorites. Iowa is also listed as a favorite, but he hasn't heard much from them over the last month.

Yeah, those look like the offers he was "waiting on".

I hope he picks the U, but I don't have a good feeling about him. Either way, I hope he picks wisely.

The rivals page has him set to visit West Virginia on 12/9/11.

Personally, although I am not sure about our status with him, he seems to be someone who wants to get as many offers as possible. I guess at this point if he is going to wait until NSD, I would be surprised if we did not go another direction.
Nothing wrong with what he wants to do, but I have never seen a player that wound up going here still looking for new schools this late in the process, at least in the last 10 years.
Given two seniors leaving, it might be another position where a good Juco could help in balancing the squad.
