One of my concerns for the game is trick plays. Missouri caught us off guard on a fake punt and onside kick - hopefully will be more prepared Thursday night.

Funny because I am far more concerned about facing off against one of the highest scoring offenses in the country with a Heisman Trophy Candidate...but yeah I guess trick plays are also a worry. :)

They should have to worry about our trick plays. We should be much more worried about their high powered offense and even more worried about their defense that forced 5 turnovers last year.

We needed a new thread for this.

I see what you're saying, however, these can and sometimes do change the entire game's momentum. Case in point was the Missouri Game. We had the game going in our direction and it seemed most of what we did was working. The punt and on-side kick really did change the momentum and put us on our heals. Props go to Tiger coaching staff. Patterson has also shown to be a bit of a gambler in those sorts of situations.

Yes, they may dominate us and not have to resort to trick plays; but I do expect enough of a game that both teams will dig deep in their playbooks. I expect a far better game than the odds-makers have predicted.

I don't think TCU believes they need trick plays to beat us. So I'd be surprised, coming off no film, if they tried much. Granted they may see something and set it up at half time, but that depends on score. I expect us to be the team trying things not seen before.
