Let me finish that sentence for you ...

Marc Trestmen, 2 straight cfl titles the man know how to coach in the CFL - but would be a deer in the headlights in the college game.
 


TCF Stadium field isn't big enough to play the game Trestman is currently coaching?
 

If only every other professional and college football team would have noticed this before he was banished to the CFL.
 


He can't be worse than the clown Brewster. Did he take us to the Rose Bowl?

Yeah, thats the standard I want to use for picking our next coach "Can't be worse than the clown Brewster". So if he is just the same or slightly better is that OK then?
 

I like that he is an alum and is from here. That can help in-state recruiting.

No, hiring a coach who actually knows how to win in Division I helps in-state recruiting. No high school football player in Minnesota gives two-fifths of a month old dog turd where Marc Trestman is from.

The only help we need in in-state recruiting is landing the Hendersons and Floyds. Exactly how is Trestman helping? Sean Henderson gives a flying you know what about Mark Trestman? is Mark Trestman plugging him into the music scene in Montreal? GTFO. Brewster was bad. Let's not go from bad to worse.
 

What is the longest time that he has stayed at a 11 man football job?
By any chance is it three years?

Brewster significantly improved our in-state recruiting and that didn't equate to success. We need a guy that has experience developing and coaching college kids. Trestman has experience, it just went horrendously.

As far as getting the top guys every single year, well, that won't happen until we are a big time program.

Marc Trestman does kind of name/resume that will give him a distinct advantage recruiting 16-18 yr old kid.
