Tanner Morgan Meets the Media on Thursday, April 2nd.

Chip Scoggins: "Reporters just finished a video conference with Gophers QB Tanner Morgan. Can't overstate how fortunate their program is to have Tanner as their leader. You won't find a more mature leader for a college team than that young man."
Tanner Morgan: “It’s a tribute to the president of the university and how they planned it, on down to the professors, finding ways to help the students learn,” Morgan said. “A lot of people have found it beneficial and it’s great to see the state of Minnesota come together. The most important thing is the health of our country. We’re going to prepare like we’re playing on Sept. 3 and control what we can control."
University of Minnesota quarterback Tanner Morgan spent 20 minutes with about 25 media members on a video conference yesterday.
Morgan, who is 15-4 as a starter at Minnesota, set school single-season records for passing yards (3,253) and passing touchdowns (30) in 2019, as he helped lead Minnesota to 11 wins and an end-of-season of No. 10. The Ryle, Ken., native also set school single-season records in completion percentage (66.0%), passing yards per game (250.2), pass efficiency rating (178.7) and touchdown-interception ratio (4.28).
Morgan, who will be a junior in the fall, was named All-Big Ten Second Team in 2019 and was also a semifinalist for the Davey O'Brien Award and The Manning Award. Morgan is also an Academic All-Big Ten performer.
