I can't believe we aren't getting actual 5 star guys....we're the god damn university of minnesota, the studs should be begging to play here.
 

Kind of crazy how many football players come out of the state of Ohio. OSU didn't even offer him a sniff but hey this kid could easily get some playing time at Minnesota.

You're right, we should be competing with the MAC, Utah State, and UTEP for recruits.

Every time I see you have posted, I know it's going to be some venom-filled diatribe. You're becoming worse than Art Vandelay. Is that really what you aspire to in life?

If the Gophers cause you this much consternation and only exist for you to mock and ridicule, why don't you get the hell out of here and find some other team to root for? There are literally hundreds of other amateur and professional teams that are worthy of your scorn - why don't you go find one?

Being a realist and being a huge f'ing sarcastic prick are two very different things. Just thought you might want to be aware of that.

Just passing on what it said. Midweek visit from Carter. Not sure if official visits have to take place on the weekend or not.

Curious to see how Tatum fits with the new regime. He looked like a relentless pursuit guy in his HS highlight films.

Yeah, I am interested in seeing how a few of these guys fit into the new regime. It seems like Kill likes to move up players from LB to DE, so I kind of wonder about Tatum and D. Mitchell (another LB noted for his pass rushing ability) and a few other players on where they will end up.

To me that is a good sign that Tatum is promoting Kill and the U. Maybe Carter already has all his officials scheduled but due to recent event is wanting to hear what is going on with Kill and the U.
 

BTW - along with Cotton, it looks like Kill has really been targeting the DBs.

Womble, Cotton, Carter, Estime, Chapman...a few guys Kill's trying to get in on with bcs offers. Notice how it's a lot more difficult? It's not easy to recruit here, didn't everyone assume Kill would be less successful as a recruiter then Brewster (unless he wins of course)?
 

you cant just jump in on the recruiting process at a new school in december and expect to land the big boys who've been hearing from the other schools since their junior years in high school. It's called being late to the party and Kill could not help it in this case.

Please. This post is pure rubbish. How long has Kill been recruiting in Minnesota? The players you mentioned have been in contact with other schools for at least a year or two.

Just noticed there are not any commits so far in regard to the DL. Any potential players leaning toward MN or is the team in good enough shape this year?

He's not the only one we lost. It also says we lost Tauefa due to academic ineligibility to name one. Few more also.

That's too bad. I kind of had a bad feeling that there would be more deflections than we knew about. I don't know if this is all kind of against the unwritten rule of telling other people stuff from scout, but who else is not coming back?

Are you referencing this?

If Tauaefa was indeed ineligible, I don't think Kill would hold off offering Anthony Hayes.
