Talk about “slumming,” the 3 most recent Big Ten additions since 2017 … oof.

The hubris in the Cornhusker state never fails to amaze me. They trash the B1G West, but contributed less than nothing on their own. Here is to being 5 out of the last 6 vs them this August 31st.

So what you are saying is the Big Ten is a hard league to just hop in and win?

Unlike the SEC, where historically average Mizzou won a division right away, and Johnny Football somehow became a Heisman winner as A&M joined.

The B1G West helped bring a screeching halt to one of CFBs most storied programs. It didn't happen because the Huskers couldn't beat Ohio State or Michigan, it happened because they couldn't beat Minnesota and Northwestern.

NE suffered from victory disease.
They thought their glory days in the 90s would be automatically repeated when they got out from under Texas and found refuge in what they considered a less worthy and less competitive conference.
A number of bad hiring and firing decisions of coaches and ADs and the overriding influence of St Tom Osborne led to their pathetic state today.
