That sucks - I was looking forward to the tailgate. Nothing else to do and cold around the stadium... going to be a traffic jam right before the game starts...

They couldn't get away with banning tailgating and expect people to just sit there for 4.5 hours. That'd never fly. People just won't be able to put out their elaborate spreads of grills, chairs and canopies in order to maximize parking.
There will certainly be a lot of tempers flaring in the lots, however.
