Taikwon Paige, the former Georgia Military College outstanding defensive back who committed to the Gophers and then followed U former defensive coordinator Ted Roof to Auburn, couldn't qualify and is not on the football team.

I wonder if the staff let him go without a fight because they knew the chances of him qualifying were slim.

He didn't chooose Auburn over Minnesota. He was denied admission here in December of last year which is why he started looking at Auburn.
