Minnesota coach Richard Pitino Jr. and his Golden Gophers are coming off a horrendous season. Minnesota went 2-14 in the Big Ten last year.
Amir Coffey, Jordan Murphy and Dupree McBrayer are back for the Gophers, but Pitino is still on the hot seat.
Boston College was primed for a breakthrough season until star guard Jerome Robinson entered the NBA draft. Ky Bowman entered the draft, too, but he ultimately decided to return, which means the Eagles could still be a dangerous club.
