First off, note well, I am not pining for the days of Monson.

However, if Long Beach can beat Cal Poly tonight they will all but lock up the Big West Tourney slot. If the Gophers lose again this season they are likely out.

I know, I know. The Gopher are ravaged by injury. How much would it suck to see Monson in and Tubby out?

Do you have any idea how many non-one seed's win their conference tournaments each year? It's probably at least half.
