They deserve mention and kudos for what has become a consistently terrific and vocal section of the stadium. They’re a big and positive part of the great game day experience.

Yesterday was what makes college football games special: near-perfect weather, beautiful colors, a very entertaining game, and . . . a Gopher “W”!!

I thought that the early game showed us the effects of Bowling Green. The were slow to show up but the game kept them interested. Hopefully we can still count on them against Illinois

Yes. And it's a 2:30 game.....so hopefully it will get late risers there. But there may be a drop off from students who drink themselves into a stupor by midday.

Ah gotcha. Yeah, I think 2019 showed that if we are in the mix in November, the students will be there and be loud. We definitely have every opportunity to make that Illinois game very meaningful.

I thought the student section was great yesterday. Lots of movement, lots of noise. I figured they might start drifting away after halftime, but they stayed and made a huge difference.

There was a blind guy behind me whose wife was next to him doing play-by-play. He was super jacked about the atmosphere and super into the game; kept saying it was “electric”.

As someone who has sat in the student section for ~10 years -- they may be tougher but they have missed many a November contest
