per the STrib:

“I think our secondary will be as good as anybody’s in the Big Ten,” Kill said.

The Gophers yielded 310 passing yards to Eastern Illinois in last week’s opener, but nearly half came after Minnesota opened a 35-0 lead in the fourth quarter. The baldheaded, brash-talking Sawvel will use that inflated statistic as motivation, reminding his charges that they’re not that good — yet.

Go Gophers!!

Our DBs and their coach are bad a$$. They are worth the price of admission.

Once three or four of these guys get drafted, we'll surely be noticed as an NFL prep destination school similar to Wisky's reputation of with OL.

I think the secondary could be even better next year. We lose Thompson, Levine, and Wells.

I thought Boddy-Calhoun really looked the part last year before he went down. I'm sure we'll get a good look at him today.

I forgot about the no turn the head thing. Don't like that at all, doesn't seem to make much sense. Otherwise, great to watch them fly around. Johnson seemed a bit off today.
