per the STrib:

Four-star Virginia Beach point guard Gadiva Hubbard committed to play for the Gophers, women’s basketball coach Marlene Stollings said Monday.

Hubbard, a 5-9 senior at Princess Anne High School in Virginia, is the 94th ranked player in the 2016 class by ESPN.

She averaged 16.6 points, 5.8 rebounds, 3.1 steals and 2.9 rebounds as a junior last season.

Go Gophers!!

Thanks for the Info

Now that Sue Short is wrapping up the women's forum, we will have to turn more heavily towards the GopherHole for women's bball coverage.

I wonder if Fuller at the Pioneer Press (who broke the story) knows that Coach Stollings can't actually talk about specific recruits until they sign?!

Would be a major boo-boo by Stollings if she did. Getting to the point nothing would surprise me if it involves someone Teague hired.

After watching that, fairly certain I could play D-1 women's BB in my 40's.

Fairly certain you'd get your ass handed to you.

I agree he would even in D2 womens basketball but that tape is weak....that competition is Class A JV high school like at best. He could play with those girls for sure...we all could. There is no quickness or intensity there.

I do know for a fact that some supposedly highlight videos are made from high school scout camps that take your money and then give the athlete a worthless highlight video in return! It is not the recruits fault. Check out these highlight videos of Minnesota's new recruit Gadiva Hubbard!
