Zac Epping’s streak of 42 consecutive starts on the Gophers offensive line includes a victory over Iowa as a redshirt freshman followed by two losses to the Hawkeyes.

“They always have a great O-line and a great D-line, and the game is won in the trenches,” Epping said Tuesday. “Whoever’s going to win the line of scrimmage is going to win the game.”

Epping is just amazing. He and Campion are really tough durable guys who battle on every play, I hope we can find more like them no matter how many stars they have.

Epping is just amazing. He and Campion are really tough durable guys who battle on every play, I hope we can find more like them no matter how many stars they have.

My only issue with Epping is that he takes things too far sometimes and hurts his team with stupid penalties. Seems like anytime there is pushing and shoving going on between our oline and the opponents dline, Epping is always at the center of it.
