Dovich was the first 2015 Gophers commitment last June. The offer was one he couldn’t turn down and “a dream come true,” he said.

“When they gave me the offer, I committed a week later,” Dovich said. “It was really a no-brainer.”

A Gophers fan growing up and a big fan of coach Jerry Kill, Dovich said he is excited to be part of this “team on the rise.”

“All I can do is get down there and just start working as hard as I can,” Dovich said.
